It started with the puppies.

My family and I have bred and raised Doodles since 2019, and one of the most important parts of raising a confident family dog is thoughtful early socialization. New noises, new smells, new people, new experiences — our puppies need gentle, positive experiences with different people, sounds and environments.

Puppy Experiences started as a way to give them exactly that.

What I didn’t expect was how much joy the puppies would give back.

It turned out to be a fair trade. The puppies get their confidence, and everyone else gets an hour they talk about for weeks.

Every puppy you meet here is one of ours: a Doodle, born in my home, vet-checked, first vaccinations done, and going to a family we have chosen carefully. When they graduate out of the sessions, the next litter takes over.

A session only works if it is good for the puppies too. Ours are raised by us, they are never on the floor for the whole hour, and any pup who has had enough goes back to the pen — no negotiation, no exceptions, even if the room is charmed.

Supervised interaction

A handler on the floor at all times whose only job is watching the puppies, not teaching the class.

Rest breaks

Puppies rotate off the floor in shifts, with water, shade and a quiet pen they can retreat to whenever they like.

Age-appropriate socialisation

Only pups inside the critical socialisation window attend, and only after their first vaccinations and a vet check.

Puppy-first care

No picking a pup up unless invited, no chasing, no waking a sleeping puppy. Guests who forget get one kind reminder.
